A project manager from Asia Foundation has been secretly kidnapped by the Chinese Public Security Bureau on May 19, 2006 in Beijing. Family members have no information about Mr. Dongwei Bu's current situation after three months of his disappearance.

It was reported by Minghui website that he has been seen by others in a hospital for his hunger strike (against the kidnapping) during detention. Free China Movement calls for the totalitarian regime to account for the whereabouts of Mr. Bu to his wife and 18 months old girl.

Hongwei Lou, Mr. Bu's wife, a graduate student in Cambridge University in Britain is deeply worried about the possibility that her husband might become another victim of the forced organ transplant as it is well disclosed recently. According to media reports, many of those Falun Gong practitioners whose organs were snatched alive were those who were detained and transferred to labor camps secretly without any legal procedures or papers to their family.

Family members of those murdered FLG practitioners were only able to find out later that their loved ones have been killed for their "high quality" organs after their kidnapping and disappearance.

Ms. Lou can be reached at 7036556686 for more information.

Attached is a letter from Ms. Lou calling to the attention of her husband's case.

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to ask for your urgent help! My husband Dongwei (David) Bu has been working for Beijing Office of Asia Foundation (Head office in San Francisco) since his MBA graduation. But he was arrested from home by police officers from the Beijing Police Station of Haidian District on 19 May 2006. They also took away our Falun Gong books and computer. Dongwei Bu was put into the Haidian Qinghe Detention Center then.

At the end of June I were told by an inside friend that they had sentenced my husband Dongwei Bu 2 and 1/2 years forced labor. But our family didn't receive any written notice or confirmation of his arrest or sentence from the very beginning. So from the legal perspective, his case is disappearance. That reminds me that an independent Canadian investigator say they are convinced that the organs of Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese labor camp are being harvested for profit, according to a report released 6 July. I really need urgent help from U.S. government, please save my husband's life!!

In China, the issue of Falun Gong is beyond constitution, no law is to be abided by when dealing with Falun Gong people. So they are in great danger if without outside attention. My husband's parent are both nearly eighty and I didn't tell them this adversity until now because I fear this news will grab their lives. We have one 18 month daughter and she is taken care of by my parent now.

My husband is a very kind and honest person, and never has any bad doings. He began to practice Falun Gong (a peaceful meditation practice from the Buddhist school) in 1996 because he believes in the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" that it teaches. Dongwei has been supporting many poor children in countryside to get education in school. All his classmates, colleagues and friends have a high opinion of him.

I know communist party are persecuting many groups, including Falun Gong, house church, even human rights lawyer and reporter. If no one stops it, in the future, it will persecute more people. Sooner or later, everyone will become its victims.

My husband is working for an U.S organization, I sincerely hope U.S. government and other organizations could give him a helping hand and I believe you can!

Thank you and I am looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes,

Hongwei Lou (My email: lilylou2001@hotmail.com)
