: May I take this opportunity to introduce you to the Center for the Study of Democratic Societies, which is a research and educational institution dedicated to the examination and explanation of the properties and possibilities of democratic societies. I respectfully invite your visitation to our website at , where you will find some of our activities and interests -- a primary one being the exposition of Socioeconomic Democracy, a fundamentally just and democratic socioeconomic system described at our site and the subject of our forthcoming book entitled Socioeconomic Democracy: An Advanced Socioeconomic System, also described at the site. : Very briefly, Socioeconomic Democracy (SeD) is a theoretical model socioeconomic subsystem wherein there exist both some form of Universal Guaranteed Personal Income (UGI) and some form of Maximum Allowable Personal Wealth (MAW), with both the lower bound on personal material poverty and the upper bound on personal material wealth set and adjusted democratically by all participants of society. It would appear that SeD has much to offer, to the good ol' US of A, all the "western" societies (really a rather strange name to designate a portion of the essentially spheroidal planet) as well as the rest of this pathetic planet.
