"Mourn the Pass Away of Ziyang and Say Bye to the Communist Party" Rally in Washington DC

Washington DC January 18, 2004

Former Communist Party Secretary General and primer Zhang Ziyang contributed tremendously to the Chinese Reform since 1980s. Mr. Zhao advocated for peaceful resolution of the 1989 Pro-democracy movement before and after the Beijing Massacre. IN spite of pressure from the other Communist Party leaders, he refused to stand on the side of the butcher and instead stand courageously on the right side of history by refusing to order the crack down in Beijing.

The Chinese Communist Party would not admit its crimes against humanity and take responsibility of the murder of hundreds of innocent and peaceful Chinese in 1989. Mr. Zhao was deprived not only all his positions within the Chinese government and the Communist Party but also his freedom until his last moment on January 17, 2005. Though Mr. Zhao passed away and his soul is freed finally but the Chinese Communist Authority is trying to block the information of Mr. Zhao's pass away inside China in fear that Mr. Zhao's death may lead to another massive demonstration against the regime which is by the people, of the people and for the people.

Mr. Zhao's courage to stand on the right side of history since 1989 makes him the last leader from within the system the Chinese people could trust and rely upon. All the people who loves China and is concerned about the future of the country is saddened by his pass away and his courage to refuse to cooperate with the Communist evil in Beijing.

The Chinese Communist Party has lost its credibility and qualification to reevaluate Mr. Zhao's contribution to the democratization process in China and will not hold and allow any public memorial service inside China. For all these reasons, the overseas Chinese and pro-democracy and human rights organizations will organize a memorial service to "Mourn the Pass Away of Ziyang and Say Bye to the Communist Party" Rally in Washington DC today. The co-sponsors of this event includes Free China Movement, Bye-CCP Alliance, Chinese VIP Reference, Nine-Commentaries on CCP Web Site, Chinese Democratic Party Overseas Exile Headquarter, Chinese Republican Party, Chinese Workers Party, Chinese Republican Party, International Association of Chinese Workers, Party for Freedom and Democracy In China, Public Opinion Magazine, Global Coalition to Try Jiang Zemin and Resigning from CCP Website, etc.
