Public Rally: "Chinese Communist Party, Bye-for-Good"

The Event:

To support the newly-formed global "Bye-CCP (Chinese Communist Party)" movement (in Chinese, http://www.epochtimes.com/b5/5/1/1/n766411p.htm ), some 30 organizations in Washington DC metro areas will gather on January 8, 2005 (Saturday) at 2:00 ¨C 4:00 pm to hold a public rally in front of the Chinese Embassy, called "2005 New Year Resolution: Say Bye-for-Good to CCP". Leaders of various organizing groups of the rally, from all walks of life, both Overseas Chinese and Westerners, will speak from different perspectives, expressing our common wish for the New Year: Bye-for-Good to CCP!

Background:

On November 19, 2004, the Epoch Times newspaper began to publish the "Jiuping (Nine Commentaries) on the Communist Party, or <Jiuping> ", which gives a detailed and uncensored history of the CCP. The <Jiuping> has triggered people around the world, especially Chinese people, to consider an issue: How should we view the CCP? How can we transition to a society without communism?

The <Jiuping> comprehensively expose the CCP's lies, violence, evil nature, and the maze of its control in China. It passed a final judgment on the century-long International Communist Movement and especially the CCP, which now lays on its deathbed. When the<Jiuping> was published, it sent shockwaves throughout Chinese communities throughout the world, as most Chinese people normally lack access to a genuine history of the CCP that has ruled them for over 50 years. Within a month after the <Jiuping>'s publication, The Epoch Times and other 60 organizations held over 40 <Jiuping> forums in Chinese in 27 major cities in 12 countries, with over 200 well-known scholars, experts, and community leaders and celebrities presenting their insightful comments on the evilness of the CCP, and with several thousands in attendance. The<Jiuping> has caused a wave of CCP members to renounce their Communist Party membership, the first occurrence of this kind in CCP's history and a major shock to the ruling elites.

Two weeks ago, The English Epoch Times held its first English-language <Jiuping> forum at the National Press Club, overcoming interferences from the Chinese Embassy in Washington DC. The Western society and media now desires to know more about the <Jiuping>, its impacts on Overseas Chinese communities, the CCP itself, as well as the truths of many events occurring in China. For the forthcoming President Bush's second inauguration, the <Jiuping> and its phenomena, as well as the voices of this rally will be heard, which should help Americans to better the pathways to the future.

Rally Theme:

The rally of "Bye CCP for-Good" calls out: Every individual or organization whose heart has been reached by <Jiuping>, let us rethink history, reveal the truth, understand ourselves, reject the CCP, and reject evil. Just like the difference between black and white, good and evil, there is no middle ground. We must hold the conscience of heaven and earth and be noble and aboveboard!

The rally of "Bye CCP for-Good" further urges: "Say Bye-for-Good to CCP", from today on! "Say Bye-for-Good to CCP", wherever you are in the world! "Say Bye-for-Good to CCP", from bottom of our hearts! Should we choose to do so in each and everyone of us, we'll surely choose a society without communism.

This public rally invites all residences of the society, the media, Overseas Chinese and grassroots organizations to pay close attention to the "Bye-for-Good to CCP" and join us in this rally. As a new year arrives, everything is fresh again. Let us voice out our new year wish together: "Say Bye-for-Good to CCP"!
